The first edition
On 19 January 2019 the dream of organizing the first edition of the VINTAGE MARKET in BARI comes true, managing to involve 60 exhibitors including private individuals and professionals of second hand vintage, modern antiques, design, record collecting, comics and much more.
The success was overwhelming; the choice to carefully select each exhibitor, favoring beautiful and original products, has created a unique and lively atmosphere with stations full of objects, posters, illustrations, design prints, jewelery and handcrafted accessories, hand-made clothing as well as bags, scarves , glasses, vinyls, books and vintage clothes.
From the early hours of the morning, a very large audience of all ages visited the Market to browse through the stands, as well as have breakfast or lunch inside the food market or to drink a beer to the tunes of the DJ sets that from afternoon they entertained visitors and exhibitors.
The display of vintage cars set up for the occasion was interesting and appreciated.
The whole event surprised not only for its trade fair aspect but certainly for the cultural one linked to Re-cycling and Re-use and a useful and fun way to spend a day with your family.
This enormous success pushed Bidonville Vintage store to create a calendar of events with the creation of 2 subsequent editions of the Market also organized during the period of the Covid pandemic, increasing both the number of visitors and exhibitors.
The exhibition area has also been doubled using indoor and outdoor spaces.
To date we count on the availability of over 100 exhibitors diversified in different categories and more than 20,000 attendances in previous editions.
For this reason, VINTAGE MARKET BARI is becoming a prestigious event for the City of Bari, attracting the interest of new exhibitors from outside the region and attracting the attention of an increasingly attentive and knowledgeable public.
